Mother: Someone phoned for you
Me: Ok, who?
Mother: Some guy - some 'old friend'
Me: Ok, who?
Mother: I'm not sure.
Me: Well, did he leave a number?
Mother: No.
Me: Well, did you ask him?
Mother: I don't think so.
Me: Ok. Did you recognise the voice?
Mother: No.
Me: Did he say anything else?
Mother: Well, he said 'I'm an old friend and I'll try again at some point'.
Me: Right. That's great.
Mother: I hope he does ring again - he sounded lovely....
