been able to get hold of Chris
Me: No?
Mother: I know
her phone can be a little bit dodgy, but still. Everytime I’ve tried getting
through there’s just an engaged tone.
Me: Maybe she’s
on the phone when you call..?
Mother: She’s
not.
Me: Why?
Mother: Because
she’s just not.
Me: Right.
Mother: So in the end I’ve sent a message to tell her: ‘Your
phone’s not working’
Me: You sent a
message to her phone to tell her that her phone’s not working?
Mother: Yes.
Me: ……
